Throwback to my Summer Class at Adelphi

It's official I'm going to Adelphi! I made my deposit today! In honor of doing so...some photos of campus that I took during my photography class in the summer.

Week 9- Snow

Less than two weeks ago we were hit by Hurricane Sandy, and yesterday afternoon we were hit by a Nor'easter and left with about 7 inches of snow. And yes I went out when it was still snowing to get some photos.

Week 8- Hurricane Sandy

For those of you who don't know I live on Long Island and we were hit pretty bad by the storm. There are lots of downed trees and power lines. And many of the trees are on top of power lines. It's really eerie here at night with most of the area having no power. Lights are few and far between. This afternoon I went for a walk and did capture some of the damage that my community is facing.
